VQA Info Centre hosting open house on Saturday in Penticton

Sample local wines, try delicious food and enjoy live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The VQA Wine Information Centre is inviting people to join them for an open house on Saturday.

From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., there will be tastings for featured local wineries, and a signing with cookbook author Shelley Adams. Adams will also be dishing out samples of some of her recipes.

Ingrid Schellenberg will be providing live music through the afternoon, and attendees will also get a chance to meet with local Okanagan Falls-based artist Randall Young.

Featured wineries include TH Wines, Desert Hills Winery, Deep Roots Winery, Time Winery and Kitsch Wines.

The open house also features food samples from Cellar Candy, Poplar Grove Cheese, Daniel Chocolates, Jerseyland Organics and Taste of the Okanagan.

The VQA Wine Info Centre is located at 553 Vees Drive, next to Cascades Casino.
