Emergency to close overnight at South Okanagan Hospital

Individuals needing care should go to Penticton Regional Hospital

South Okanagan General Hospital

The emergency department at South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver is closing its doors overnight due to staffing shortages. 

From 9 p.m. on June 9 to 7 a.m. on June 10, Oliver and area residents will not be able to access emergency services. 

Patients needing care are expected to travel to Penticton Regional Hospital. Inpatient services are continuing as normal.
