Penticton by-election: Advance voting opens with council seat up for grabs

Seven candidates are in this spring's race

Several of the candidates in the upcoming Penticton by-election have staked their spots to get attention ahead of April 5 voting day.

Penticton voters can now cast their ballots in the city's by-election.

Advance voting will remain open at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre (PTCC) on March 26 and 27, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Seven candidates are vying for one spot on city council. The seat was vacated by MLA Amelia Boultbee following last fall's provincial election.

General voting day is on Saturday, April 5, at the PTCC, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
