Winter is sticking around in some B.C. mountain passes.
Up to five centimetres of snow is expected on the Okanagan Connector, the Coquihalla from Kamloops to Hope, and the Allison and Kootenay passes on Highway 3.
“Snow levels are dropping below pass level for most high elevation travellers routes this morning,” reads an Environment Canada statement.” Some snowfall is expected, then as snow level rises near midday it will transition to rain showers.”
Travellers are urged to be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions that could result in hazardous driving conditions.
Road conditions are available at DriveBC.
