Single-game tickets for the Vancouver Canucks' Young Stars Classic in Penticton will soon be available for purchase.
Tickets for the tournament, featuring top prospects from the Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets go on sale Aug. 16 at 10 a.m., B.C.'s NHL team has announced.
The tournament takes place from Sept. 13 to 16 and preludes Canucks training camp, which is returning to Penticton for the first time in 14 years from Sept. 19 to 22.
This year's Young Stars Classic is expected to feature Sawyer Mynio, a third-round pick of the Canucks in 2023, and Jonathan Lekkerimaki, a first-round selection of the club in 2022.
Other notable prospects set to attend the Penticton tournament include Brad Lambert, the Jets' first-round pick in 2022, and Zayne Parekh, who was taken ninth overall by the Flames in the 2024 NHL draft.
This will mark the 11th time the tournament has come to the South Okanagan, with current NHL stars Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Nikolaj Ehlers among those to participate in past years.
Single-game tickets start at $26 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under, according to the SOEC.
Tickets can be purchased at valleyfirsttix.com, or in-person at the venue's box office.
