After sweeping the Okotoks Oilers with a four-game series, the Penticton Vees will face the Cranbrook Bucks in the second round of playoffs starting April 18.
The Bucks victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters on April 13 in game six earned them their first trip to the second round in the team's history.
The match-up between the Vees and Bucks will be the first time the two have met in the playoffs.
The Vees won all four regular season meetings against Cranbrook, including their last encounter, 5-2, on March 28.
Penticton outscored the Bucks 19-11 in those four games.
The series will start with two games in Penticton at the South Okanagan Events Centre, before the action heads to Cranbrook.

According to the press release from the Vees, due to arena availability in Cranbrook, there will be three days off between the second and third games, and if necessary games five and six would be played on back-to-back nights.
