Lucas Sorace is returning to the place where he started his BCHL career.
The Penticton Vees have traded the 20-year-old defenceman to the Chilliwack Chiefs in exchange for future considerations, the club announced Aug. 2.
Sorace posted four points in 26 regular-season games for Penticton last season. He would later suit up in 21 playoff contests during the team's run to the Fred Page Cup Finals.
The six-foot, 190-pound Port Moody product spent parts of three seasons with the Chiefs before being dealt to the Vees in December 2023.
"The Vees organization thanks Lucas for his contributions to the team and wishes him all the best in his return to the Chiefs," team officials wrote in a statement.
