Obirek elected Director of Okanagan Falls and Skaha East region

Voters have their say on who they want for the Okanagan Falls positions

Ron Obirek has been elected Director with 601 votes, defeating Rodney Penway and Bill Schwarz.

8:47 p.m.

Janice Stevens has been announced as the Town of Oliver and Area C school board trustee for Okanagan Falls according to Civic Info BC

Both Obirek and Penway poked at the management of parks and economic development, including decisions made during candidate Bill Schwarz terms (2002-2011) as director during the Area D forum held in Okanagan Falls.

Tom Siddon decided to not run this election after sitting for one term as the Area D director.
