Two Penticton restaurants are getting some big recognition for the quality of their patio settings.
The online reservation and review website OpenTable conducted a survey and assembled a list of the 100 best restaurants with patios across Canada and Hillside Winery and Bistro in Naramata and Villa Rosa in Penticton were recognized for the quality of their patios this year.

In Osoyoos, The Bear, The Fish, The Root and The Berry and the Sonora Room Restaurant at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery in Oliver were the two entries from the South Okanagan to make the list.
The lists was put together based on reviews from diners gathered from June 2020 to May 2021.
“For the first time ever, we’re releasing a best outdoor dining list in the fall, so anyone who wants to make the most of this year’s extended patio season can choose from among the best-rated patios in the country,” said Matt Davis, district director of OpenTable Canada. “Diners are determined to enjoy every last moment of the season, and restaurants are going above and beyond to make it happen.”

Two West Kelowna restaurants also made the list with 19 Okanagan Grill and Bar, and Terrace Restaurant at Mission Hill Family Estate Winery. There were 21 B.C. restaurants to make it into the nation-wide list.
