Keith Wiens, the man accused of murdering his common law wife in August, has been revoked bail.
On Wednesday, Wiens appeared in Supreme Court for his bail hearing after he was taken into custody last week for allegedly violating his bail conditions. Wiens made bail in August after Justice Peter Rogers determined he was not a flight risk or threat to others and was to reside in his home in Penticton amongst a number of conditions.
A publication ban was issued at Wednesday's hearing on the evidence heard during the bail hearing and the reasons why bail was revoked by Justice Rogers.
Wiens will have to remain in jail until his trial date for the alleged murder of 55-year-old Lynn Kalmring. Crown Counsel suggested the trial wouldn't happen until at least June.
