Christmas time shopping will be more convenient for people in the South Okanagan, as once again, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, BC Transit and their local government partners are pleased to offer additional service between Osoyoos and Penticton on Fridays in December.
On Dec. 7, 14, 21 and 28, Route 40 Osoyoos/Penticton will run with a morning trip leaving Osoyoos at 8:30 a.m., in addition to the regular trips at 7:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The bus will follow its usual route through Oliver, Okanagan Falls and Kaleden, arriving at Cherry Lane in Penticton at approximately 9:45 a.m. An additional afternoon return trip leaves the mall at 1:30 p.m.
