The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen has rescinded the boil water notice for the upper zone of the Sage Mesa water system, effective Sept. 13.
Residents in the lower zone of the Sage Mesa water system are still under the boil water notice. The lower zone includes properties on Sage Mesa Drive, Ladera Place, Solana Crescent, Pine Hills Drive, Verano Place.
The boil water notice advises residents to use safe alternate sources of water or to boil water for use in food preparation or cooking, oral hygiene and drinking. Water should be brought to a full and boil and allowed to boil for at least one minute.
