The biggest problem for the economy is the lack of industrial area.

I am proposing an expansion of our college in the field of health care. In the next 10 years there is to be a short fall in this province of 16,000 nurses. More teachers, students, nursing trainers in the hospital itself and for a period construction as the hospital will need to be expanded again. With a university we may attract heath care related business such as pharmaceuticals, prostheses manufacturing etc.

I want a Silicon Valley here in Penticton in the form of health care.
