Broken windows and break and enters

Police are investigating a number of broken windows at École Entre-Lacs School on Nelson Avenue reported at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 17.

Upon attending police were unable to find any suspects and are following up with witnesses and video.

Golf clubs taken

A set of men’s and women’s golf clubs were stolen from a Lincoln Navigator vehicle parked on Atkinson Street overnight on Sept. 16.

The women’s clubs were Ping brand and were in a black and red bag with the name “Michelle” engraved. They were valued at $1,500.

The men’s club were Titleist and were in a grey golf bag with an unknown value. It is possible the vehicle had been left unlocked.

According to police a neighbour reportedly saw two people dressed in black on bicycles take the clubs from the car about 6 a.m. however did not report the matter to police.

The investigation is continuing.

Okanagan Falls break in

A residence on Birch Street in Okanagan Falls was broken into overnight on Sept. 16 while the residents were away.

Reportedly stolen were liquor, a Toshiba laptop computer and an MP3 player. It is believed the french doors had been forced open.

Keys and cards stolen

On Sept. 14 at 8:30 a.m. RCMP received a report of a break in at Nelson Street home.

Thieves were thought to have gained entry through an open sliding door.

Taken were a purse containing a wallet with credit and debit cards and keys to a Mercedes vehicle.

The cards were cancelled before any fraudulent use. The RCMP forensic unit attended the scene.
