Caution on Highway 97

DriveBC is warning motorists of slippery sections along Highway 97.

If you’re travelling around the South Okanagan on Saturday watch for slush sections along Highway 97 and Highway 3.

A vehicle incident has closed Highway 3, 5 kilometres west of Keremeos. The road is reduced to single lane alternating traffic.

DriveBC is alerting motorists to slow down and drive to winter conditions especially on Highway 97 to the junction with Highway 3 — between Osoyoos to Oliver.

For those in the Central Okanagan, Highway 97 is reported to have slippery sections from Summerland to the junction of Highway 97C.
