Residents are being warned that generator testing on Penticton’s Lakeshore Drive near the Kiwanis Walking Pier may produce an abundance of black and white smoke, on Wednesday (March 9).

City crews are expected to perform testing at the Okanagan Lake Station from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, creating the potential for smoke.

People in the area are being asked to remain cautious throughout the day.
