Planned construction work will close parts of Highway 97 near Oliver in both directions next week.
A stretch between Seacrest Hill Road and Island Road will be closed for half of a killometre as a result of the construction work slated to begin on Monday (March 28), according to DriveBC.
The closed portion of the highway is expected to reopen on Thursday (March 31) at 7 p.m.
Motorists are asked to use Park Rill Road and Island Road as a detour.
