UPDATE: Crash has been cleared and traffic is back to normal.
If you are heading out of Penticton towards Summerland, expect heavy delays Friday morning.
According to Aim Roads, a vehicle incident near SunOka Beach has closed the northbound fast lane around 7:30 a.m.
Emergency crews are on scene now and there is an assessment in progress. There will be an update soon.
Snow fell overnight causing slippery sections along Highway 97.
