I would help empower our economic development office as much as possible, expand communication efforts regarding the benefits that could provide stimulus from the economic investment zone bylaw and capitalize on the Okanagan College Centre for Excellence as a resource to target sustainable building technology companies — geothermal, solar and electric living building technologies by letting them know this facility exists here.
Also, let them know we have available land for sale and could offer some flexibility for green technology and other types of synergistic companies that could find a home in our commercial/industrial area.
