An evacuation alert has been issued for 11 homes in the Regal Ridge area on Anarchist Mountain east of Osoyoos.
The alert was issued Thursday by the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen
Residents may be required to evacuate due to potential water and debris flow caused by a breached earthen dam upstream on Nine Mile Creek.
The RDOS has asked potential evacuees to be prepared to leave on very short notice. They will be contacted personally if the situation changes. Updates are also available at www.rdos.bc.ca.
