RCMP in Penticton are investigating arson to the public washrooms on Okanagan Lake.

On June 8 at 6:30 a.m., Penticton Fire Department responded to a fire inside the men’s washroom at Okanagan Lake Park.

Both men’s washrooms, RCMP explained in a release June 8, were extensively damaged from clothing that was intentionally set on fire. The women’s washrooms were not damaged.
