Penticton residents now have the opportunity to share their views on how well they feel the city communicates timely and important information.

A city-led survey on local communications and engagement activities is now open until Feb. 5.

“Through our communications and engagement program, we aim to provide residents with accurate and timely information about City services and meaningful opportunities to provide input into city decisions,” said JoAnne Kleb, the city’s manager of communications and engagement. “We’re asking residents for their feedback to see what’s working well and what we can improve on.”

The online version of the survey can be found on shapeyourcitypenticton.ca, with paper copies also available at engagement kiosks located at the community centre at 325 Power Street, city hall and public library.

Findings from the survey will be shared at shapeyourcitypenticton.ca.

“In recent years, we have dramatically increased the ways that we share information and involve residents to adjust to the preferences of the community,” said Kleb. “This is a great opportunity for residents to tell us how they want to receive their information and how they would like to be involved in shaping their city.”

Those who complete the survey upon registration will be entered in a draw for one of three $100 gift cards to a local grocery store.
