Fire breaks out in hills behind Penticton Golf Course

Both Penticton Indian Band and Penticton fire are on scene to put it out

A fire has broken out in the hills behind Doc’s Golf Thursday.

At 5:30 p.m., fire trucks from Penticton Indian Band and Penticton Fire are on the scene.

White smoke could be seen from the Penticton Golf Course but it as of 5:45 p.m. it appeared the fire was being put out.
