Fire under control on White Lake Road

Ministry of Forests crews attended a fire on White Lake Road which started in the late morning hours on Aug. 14.

BC Wildfire crews attended to a fire that started in the late morning hours Friday just off the side of White Lake Road.

A helicopter crew was dropping water from a nearby lake and multiple crew members were containing the smouldering remains of the fire which appeared to burn just under a hectare of grass on the south side of the road south of the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory.
