My wife Nat and I, with two young children of our own, often talk to other young families trying to make a go of it in Penticton.

There are many simple things we can do to enhance quality of life and lower the cost of living here.  Holistic community oriented activity at our schools (like gardens), a strengthened cultural vibe with more family and youth oriented festivals, more and healthier community recreation, and a levelling of the playing field relating to our ability to initiate and establish locally rooted business.  That’s a start.
