A garage about 10 feet away from a house on 1444 Government Street in Penticton caught on fire Tuesday afternoon.
The Penticton Fire Department responded to a report at 3 p.m. and made their way to the scene to find smoke coming out of the structure.
Traffic in front of the house and on the street was slowed down as a result of the incident.
It is believed that there are no injuries.
