A section of road in the city will remain closed for a few hours as crews fix a gas line break.

On Tuesday, around 10:15 a.m., the Penticton Fire Department was called to Village By The Station for a gas line break. According to witnesses, the break was caused by heavy machinery digging outside on Duncan Avenue West.

The road is closed from Duncan Avenue and Fairview Road to Duncan Avenue and Moosejaw Street.
