Grass fires in Penticton and Naramata

Two small grass fires quickly put out by Penticton and Naramata firefighters the afternoon of Aug. 12.

Two small grass fires were quickly extinguished by crews from Penticton Fire Department and Naramata Volunteer Fire Department in the late afternoon Aug. 12. The Penticton fire was on Reservoir Road and the other was on Naramata Road just north of the turnoff to the town. Damage was limited to a small area in both cases.
