The resurrection of Mount Baldy Ski Resort is a success and powder hounds are pumped for this season.

There is currently a 122 centimetre base on the mountain with 10 cm of fresh snow in the last week.

The resort reopened Dec. 1 for the first time in two years, after going into receivership back in 2014.

Managed by Joey O’Brien, the ski hill is offering season passes — at $199 for adults online.

At almost 5,700 feet the resort claims to have one of the highest base elevations in the Okanagan.

Mount Baldy is located in the South Okanagan near Oliver and Osoyoos.
