It’s almost as though I’m the only candidate that believes strongly in a free enterprise economic system.
The role of government is to manage the cities affairs, provide services, and guarantee the public meaningful and regular access to decision making. My role is to work to assure the city is fundamentally well run, places emphasis on providing the services citizens want, reduces inequality and ensures there are amenities available that contribute to the quality of life for citizens.
From there, the private sector can chose whether a business and its employees would prosper in a model city known for a high quality of life.
