To celebrate Unplug and Play Week, Literacy Now South Okanagan-Similkameen put on a free family fun day at the Penticton mall.



Cherry Lane Shopping Centre was full of kids on Saturday who were – not staring at their electronic devices.

To celebrate Unplug and Play Week, Literacy Now South Okanagan-Similkameen put on a free family fun day at the Penticton mall.

Parents were invited to bring the whole family and enjoy the tech-free activities like face painting, story telling, a bouncy castle, balloon animals and more.

Each child that attended received a free book as well.
