A city councillor identifies problems by regularly communicating and meeting with constituents and interest groups.
Going to council meetings every two weeks does not help to keep a councillor in touch. For the past three years I have been council liaison to such groups as the Penticton Industrial Development Association, Regional Advisory Committee to Okanagan College, Development Services Committee, Fiscal Review Advisory Committee, Waterfront Oversight Committee, Southern Interior Municipal Employee Association, and many more.
I will continue to be deeply involved in these and many other groups in Penticton for the next four years.
