Long arm of the law

Const. Bruce McDowall of the Penticton RCMP prepares to check the licence of a driver pulled over in the playground zone on Warren Avenue West this week. The stretch of roadway was previously marked as a school zone, but with the change the 30 km/h limit is now in effect seven days a week from dawn to dusk throughout the year. Fines can range upwards of $200.
