Penticton Firefighters were called to a residential fire at Sun Leisure Mobile Home Park around noon on Wednesday.
Black smoke could be seen billowing from the residence in what was determined to be a fire in one of the bedrooms. According to the Western News reporter on the scene it was a mattress that had caught fire.
There was one occupant in the residence that was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
Firefighters remain at the residence to clear out the smoke.
