A motorcyclist thrown from his bike on Sunday evening on Eastside Road is recovering at the Penticton Regional Hospital.
RCMP attended a single vehicle motorcycle collision at 5:35 p.m. near Sunny Bay Road in Okanagan Falls.
Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said a 1985 yamaha motorcycle operated by a 60-year-old Keremeos man overtook a vehicle and continued on a little further down the road where he lost control of the motorcycle, hit the ditch and the motorcycle flipped.
RCMP said the driver was thrown onto the roadway and sustained serious but not believed to be life-threatening injuries.
