UPDATE:

Eastside Road is now open, after a mudslide closed it early Wednesday morning.

The Penticton road connecting to OK Falls is open to traffic both ways now at a reduced speed. According to Aim Roads, the surface is a bit slick and crews are working to clean up the remainder of the debris.

A mudslide closed Eastside Road early this morning.

The mudslide was between Arthur Place and Parsons Road, one kilometre north of Okanagan Falls.

Drivers were advised to take Highway 97 to get to and from Penticton.
