Highway 3 near Hedley has re-opened as of 11:30 a.m. after a serious multi-vehicle crash closed it Sunday morning.
DriveBC is reporting that the highway is open in both directions now but to expect congestion.

A multi-vehicle crash has shut down Highway 3 in both directions near Hedley Sunday morning.
The crash took place around 6:30 a.m. between Colonial Road and Ashnola Rd. for 1.2 km just east of Hedley.
An assessment is in progress. The next update will be at noon, according to DriveBC. All lanes are currently blocked in both directions.
