A total of 4,696 voters in Penticton have cast their ballots ahead of the Oct. 15 election, down slightly from the 4,896 who did so in 2018.

The city says the final day of advanced polling on Thursday, Oct. 13, welcomed 611 fewer voters than it did four years earlier.

In total, 200 more people voted in the advanced polls in 2018 than they did in 2022.

General election day is Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters can cast their ballots at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre or Senior’s Drop-In Centre on Main Street.

Along with electing a mayor, six councillors and four school trustees are set to earn seats at City Hall by the end of the night.

Voters took to the advanced polls on Oct. 5, 13 and 15.
