Nearly 600 homes and businesses without power in Penticton

The outage is impacting businesses on Skaha Lake Rd, parts of Main and Government

At least 573 homes and businesses are without power Tuesday morning in Penticton.

According to the city’s website, an ‘unplanned’ outage occurred around 10 a.m.

The outage is impacting east of Channel Parkway, east of Skaha Lake Rd, north of Waterford Ave, south of Kinney Ave. the commercial area east of Main St, west of Dartmouth, south of Industrial Ave, north of Dawson Ave.

Some businesses along Skaha Lake Road and Main are without power as of 10 a.m.

There is no estimated time posted to when power is expected to be restored.
