New COVID case at Penticton Superstore

A staff member at the Real Canadian Superstore in Penticton has tested positive for COVID-19.

The last day the team member worked was on Jan. 21.

The new case was posted on the Loblaw’s website on Jan. 24.

The last COVID exposure at a grocery store in Penticton was Dec. 4 when an employee at the Penticton Real Canadian Wholesale Club tested positive.

The last time an employee tested positive for COVID at the Penticton Superstore was on Dec. 1, 2020.

Sobeys and Loblaw companies list their stores when and where a COVID case has been found.

Other giant grocery stores like Walmart don’t list or notify customers when there has been a COVID exposure.
