My husband, Todd and I relocated our family to the beautiful city of Penticton 12 years ago. We have chosen the Okanagan territory to raise our three children.
I am a local businessperson and the sole proprietor of Wiisnin – Lets Eat, a very successful beach concession stand at Skaha Lake. With incredible support from local patrons, I recently expanded my business on Main Street. My business gives me close interaction with a broad range of people daily.
I chose to run in this election because I understand a broad range of issues spanning from mental health services for our youth to recreation and palliative care. My experience serving on boards and committees demonstrates my dedication to building and strengthening community capacity that offer opportunities for youth employment, affordable housing and involving greater community participation in decision making.
Most importantly, I care very deeply about Penticton and Penticton’s youth population. My focus will be on creating more opportunities for youth. This is something I feel very passionate about.
