Police believe a suspicious vehicle seen in the Penticton area earlier this month may be connected with break and enters in Oliver.

On April 14 in the early morning hours, patrolling police noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area of multiple businesses around Walmart. The 2009 black Ford Escape had been reported stolen out of Kelowna. The driver failed to stop for police and was last observed heading southbound.

Penticton RCMP said a similar vehicle was reportedly seen around 3 a.m. that morning in the Oliver and Osoyoos area near business break and enters.
