A section of Penticton’s Martin Street will be closed to all traffic until Thursday evening, May 5.

The installation of new utility services will close the 200 block of the street just south of Westminster Avenue between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., starting on Tuesday.

From Tuesday to Thursday the street will reopen to vehicle traffic after 5 p.m.

The sidewalk will remain closed for the duration of the three-day project, however, the bike lane will be open for use after 5 p.m. on each of the designated workdays.

Part of the bike lane’s barrier will not be reinstalled until the project is complete.
