The Mirror Image Room in Penticton is looking for a new space from which to provide wigs to cancer patients and others experiencing hair loss.

The service, for Penticton, Summerland and surrounding areas, has been provided since 2006. However, the Mirror Image Room has been asked to vacate this location by the end of March.

Organizers and volunteers are now seeking a new space from which to operate. The present location is 13 square metres, but organizers say they could function in a space of nine square metres if necessary.

The Mirror Image Room has no paid staff and is run by volunteers. Organizers are looking for a small room, free of charge. If a space cannot be found, people using the service will need to travel to Kelowna to access the service.

Anyone able to provide a space for the Mirror Image Room is asked to contact Carol at 250-490-1300 or Laurinda at 250-583-9875.
