A Penticton gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday with the suspect getting away with a small quantity of cash.

A Penticton gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday with the suspect getting away with a small quantity of cash.

RCMP said a lone male entered the Chevron Town Pantry at 1450 Main St. around 9:27 p.m. with what appeared to be a handgun.

The suspect is described as a caucasian male of medium build, approximately 5'8 to 5'10 tall. He is described as wearing a faded light red jacket over a gray hoodie, with the hood pulled over his head, baggy black track pants with a thin vertical red stripe, heavy black or brown boots and a skull bandana covering his face. The man was last seen fleeing on foot.
