The public is being warned to stay off the KVR Trail through Penticton Indian Band land, as it is washed out in several locations.
The warning was outlined in a notice sent out by the PIB on Friday afternoon, July 8.
“You are trespassing if you walk on this trail without the permission of the band,” the notice reads. “We are especially concerned for people entering the trail as it is washed out in several locations and dangerous for any use.”
The trail runs on the west side of both Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake, from just south of Summerland to the south end of Penticton.
