With tax season approaching, the Penticton Salvation Army is partnering with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) through their Community Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program to provide tax aid to seniors, youth and anyone else in need.

Beginning on Feb. 27 and running until April 24, the Penticton Salvation Army will be holding sessions to assist people with their taxes every Wednesday. The sessions will take place at the Salvation Army Church on South Main, and begin at 9 a.m.

Volunteers will provide assistance with preparing people for filing their taxes, as well as with completing their tax returns. The sessions are free and welcome to anyone, and walk-ins are accepted.

Session dates are: Feb. 27, March 6, March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3, April 10, April 17 and April 24.
