The Penticton peewee Wolverines won the Rogers Cheer Like Never Before contest for the region at the recent Hometown Hockey event in Penticton.
They are looking for community support by voting for them online to beat the other 21 regional winners. Vote at hometownhockey.com/cheer until April 1 8:59 a.m. The winning team will be announced during a Hometown Hockey broadcast on April 3.
One vote per person a day but extra votes are earned by sharing the team’s video, found on the Hometown Hockey website, via Twitter and Facebook. The grand prize is a VIP trip to an NHL game for all members of the team and coaching staff. The winning team also gets a meet and greet with NHL players and alumni and the chance to perform their cheer in an NHL dressing room.
