Penticton today: following up on house fire and urban cougars

If you're headed to work this morning, you might want to get out to your car a little early, unless you are one of those lucky folk that have a garage. The rest of us have some snow to clear off our cars.

The light snow we got last night is expected to continued today, with temperatures rushing to a high of 2 C. It's just going to feel like it's still below zero with the wind chill factor. 

The family whose home was destroyed in a fire Monday need some help to get setup again, and a GoFundMe page has been set up for them. The devastating fire was fuelled by wind and the home's natural gas line.

The cougar family that caused so much concern Friday when they camped out near Columbia Elementary continued to make appearances. Their increasingly bold behaviour forced conservation officers to decide they should be euthanised.
