A water main break has closed Penticton’s Haven Hill Road, the city announced on Friday afternoon (March 4).
Repairs are expected to last into the evening, making Vancouver Avenue the alternative route drivers are being asked to use throughout the duration of the afternoon.
The road will be closed to traffic in between Haven Hill Road and Johnson Road, and Haven Hill Road at Eckhardt from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. for surface restoration.
Local traffic on Creekside Road is permitted, despite the ongoing repairs.
